In an effort to share ideas that schools may wish to try, I am posting an activity we did at a staff meeting in February 2012 and presented at ECOO 2012.  Prior to the meeting we developed a set of Success Criteria for using technology and shared them with teachers.  This activity turned to be the best PD for all of us in terms of sharing practical uses of technology that helped student learning and developing a culture of innovation and taking risks.  Even if you choose to try a simpler format, it is well worth it.  I have images of slides explaining our success criteria.  Our Accelerated Learning Success Criteria was published twice in 2012 in Stratosphere – Integrating Technology, Pedagogy, and Change Knowledge, and Motion Leadership in Action: More Skinny on Becoming Change Savvy, both by Michael Fullan.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or ideas.
