Muri (what is difficult to do in a process) and Mura (what varies within a process) are two very big challenges in a business process.  In a classroom setting, muri and mura are very present in all the learning styles, multiple intelligences and learning abilities of both the student and the teacher.   Therefore, the teacher has to differentiate their instruction, assessment and program in such a way that all students can learn and achieve to a high degree.  As in manufacturing, the teachers instructional system or program needs to be robust enough to encompass all the learning styles, multiple intelligence and learning abilities in their classroom.  Indeed, differentiated instruction is widely practiced in education today and many more students are being successful.
